D has really been enjoying his week in the daycare's "Summer Camp". Unfortunately the daycare informed me that they would not have room for him to attend next week... I am sure that I asked for him to be signed up for the last two weeks of summer, but they say there was a note only for this week--so I'm out of luck. He is not going to be happy about having to go to work with me next week. I am only working a hospital for 2 days next week, so I may just pull Big A out of "Summer Camp" and take them both with me to work. Maybe they will keep each other occupied. I think they are much more manageable when they are separated from their little sister. The 3 of the together is just an absolute nightmare, maybe just the older ones won't be so bad... I can only hope.
The other night Big A was complaining that "life is boring". She said that she wished everyday would hold an adventure, but everyday just seems to be the same old thing... I told her that she is only 5 years old, and she shouldn't be bored with life yet. She needs to enjoy her childhood-- Poor girl, she's already figured out what a drag life really is. But, hey, it's better than the alternative.... I hope she hasn't inherited my depressive personality...
Someone asked me recently if I remembered life "pre children". Not really... I think I spent most of my nights out at bars--drinking and carousing. I really did nothing productive with my time or money... Basically, as hectic and stressful as my life is today, it beats my old life by a long shot.
