Where do I begin? Things have not been going well for the last couple of days... I wouldn't say things are bad, but certainly not great. On Tuesday, I went to school at 3:00pm, to pick D and Big A up early from "After care". Keep in mind, that they had only been in after care for 30 minutes--- when I got there, I discovered that D had already been in Time-out and was on the verge of going to the Principal' s office. Big A told me that he was bouncing in his seat and wouldn't be still when the teacher told him to. So, I had a talk with him, but it really stressed me out... I began wonder if this after care program was a good fit---it looks pretty boring to me... Then I got home and discovered that D had thrown away the Tupperware container, that came with his lunch box-- not that big of a deal, I know.
Well, yesterday I worried all day at work about how D would do in aftercare. When I picked them up, the teachers said he did much better. Thank goodness. Then we got home.... Little A immediately peed on the floor of her bedroom! While I was rushing in to stop her, D apparently got distracted and peed all over the toilet and floor of the bathroom! I had just cleaned and mopped the bathroom the day before!!! So... I put both of them in the tub and cleaned and mopped the mess in both of the rooms, then I gave all 3 a bath... After they were all clean, I went in to start dinner and unpack their lunch boxes---Guess what? D's lunchbox was nowhere to be found!! I think he left it in aftercare! I hope it will be there when I take them to school today... It is a brand new Spider man lunch bag that cost entirely too much!! Yes, these may seem like little things to the reader, but when they all occur at the same time, at the end of a long day at work, they add up to quite a headache! Needless to say, I passed out early last night... I hope today will be better...
