Sometimes I Feel Like A Cab Driver....

The last couple of days have been hectic... Yesterday Big A's Summer Camp Class went to Centennial Park, so D and I tagged along too. I forgot the camera--so no photos to show. Big A and D had a great time running around and jumping in the water play area. Big A's class broke for lunch at 1pm, so D and I left. He had a PT appointment at 2 pm, so I went by the McD's drive through to buy his lunch, and we rushed across town to get to the appointment on time. His PT went well--I tend to think of him as very mildly affected by his CP ( and he is), but it is amazing how little control he has over his left leg. He cannot balance whatsoever on that leg, and he can't wiggle the toes on his left foot. I never noticed that before. Still, I think he compensates pretty well.

After PT we went back to the girls' school to pick them up. It was 3pm and Big A's group had not gotten back from the field trip yet! So I got Little A and the three of us waited in Big A's room for her return-- D and Little A played in the "housekeeping" section (making dinner), while I tried to nap on a 3 foot couch in the "reading" section ( I was unsuccessful). Finally, at almost 4 pm the class got back from the trip--- that was one long filed trip! The rest of the evening flew by in a flash.

Today as no less hectic. I woke up late and had to rush to get to my first housecall. The rest of the day was spent running around trying catch up... Big A had T-ball practice this evening. I got the early so I let the kids play for a while on the playground... Below are some pics...
