Screaming, Shrieking, and Sleeping....

I think I have finally gotten all of the kiddies to bed.... Little A keeps getting up. Earlier, I was changing the cat box and getting the cats inside, when D got up out of bed to tell me his watch was still on. I took the watch off and told him to go back to bed. He said " y Addie tosha" ( and Addie too). I said, "No Addie is already in bed." To which he responded and pointed to the couch, "No, toot Addie." ( no, there's Addie). And, sure enough there was Little A sitting quietly on the couch, trying to hide behind the pillows!!! So, I sent them both back to bed... since then, Little A has been up again twice. That girl.... Only one word describes her----> Trouble!!!

How is life as a single mother with 3 children? I get that question a lot lately. So far I have not gone totally insane... Really, it has not been too much different from having two children, except there is much more fighting.... D is extremely loud and has a piercing scream. Unfortunately, I hear that piercing scream all too often, because Little A is constantly fighting with him, and Big A is constantly annoying him by kissing and hugging him. He pretty much shrieks and screams when he is happy,excited, sad, hurt, or mad... Needless to say, I have gone through a lot more Advil, to sooth my aching head, since he joined the family. :) We are working on keeping down the volume, but I have a feeling it is going to be a long process.

But, all in all, life is good. Never a dull moment though...

Today was pretty laid back--as laid back as it gets around here. D went to his first physical therapy appointment today. It went well. The therapist wants to see him twice a week for the rest of the summer, then once a week once school starts. This evening Big A had a T-ball game. She had a good time playing. Little A got absolutely filthy in the red clay, and D shrieked and screamed as usual... Now they are finally asleep , and soon, I will be too...
