Ah... the big kids are all registered for school! Yay!! Yesterday quite a bit of my day was spend at the school's open house. I took Big A and D to meet their new teachers and check out their classrooms. They were so excited to see all their school friends... The place was chaos.... crazy busy! D got to see his special ed teacher and meet his new kindergarten teacher. He got really shy when we went into the room. I think he finally realizes that he will be in his own class--- separate from Big A. That will be good for him. It will be good for them both. Big A also got to meet her new first grade teacher.... that woman seems really old school and stern. I am interested to see how many times she gets into trouble this year.... scary.
My baby will also be starting school this year.... Little A will be in pre-k at the Sunshine House, so it won't be that drastic of a change for her. I cannot believe that she is getting so old... She will be 4 in less than two weeks!!! And I still haven't planned her party!! I am getting slacker and slacker these days. Oh well, it will come together somehow, I'm sure. I haven't even started shopping for her Birthday either. I keep asking her what she wants, but she just says "nuffing". If only that were really true! :) I really need to sit down and think about it.... I'm sure I will come up with something. Right now, I am simply too tired to worry about it. And that is that.
