Happy New Year!!!

Things have been going much better at our house the last few days. My heart is no longer broken-- we made up and worked things out! Yay for me! Hopefully it will last... The New Year is looking like a good one so far!!! Hopefully it won't be worse than the last! It has really been a rough year! Good things did happen to me in 2008-- I finally got to bring D home, for instance. But for the most part, it was a very hard year! I am glad it is over.

I got to go out like a grown up on New Year's Eve!!! Theresa came over to babysit the kids for me so I could go out with Sheila and her daughters. We went to Whole World Theater--an improv comedy theater. The show was very funny. We had a really good time. On New Years day, I was extremely lazy... napped for a long time--always nice. The kids and I went over to Sheila's in the evening to have some dinner. The kids made cupcakes with the cupcake maker Santa brought---Santa was sorry for bringing that gift because it sucks!!! But the kids thought it was great! The children had a great time destroying Sheila's house--- they wrestled with the dogs (not Big A, she is not a dog person), they destroyed Sheila's bed by jumping on it, and they generally behaved badly--nothing new there. Perhaps she will break up with me again soon.... :) Just kidding, she better not!!!

Today all three kids came to work with me... Fun Fun!! Actually it wasn't that bad. They did really well. It was an extremely busy morning for me, but the kids did well staying out of Mommy's way. Only a few fights to break up. And I didn't have a nervous breakdown, so I would say the day was a success. Little A spent a lot of time helping me with patients and telling me how much she loves me... That made me happy! :) When Little A shows affection, one should feel privileged!!

We will definitely be there! We may be late, because Amelia's birthday party is the same day, but we will come right after.
