My Baby....

So much is going on lately, that my head is swimming.  I think I'm feeling the strain. At least physically.  I am trying to get a cold... yuck.  But I can't get one this week--- there is too much to do.  I have got to get ready for company this weekend....  Little A's Birthday party is on Saturday, which means my family will be down, which means my house must be at least somewhat clean....  We will see if I can make that happen...  At the rate I am going, things aren't looking too promising...  I will keep plugging away at it though.

Yesterday was Little A's actual Birthday.   I can't believe she is FIVE years old now!!!  It scares me how fast time goes now that I am getting older.  She is such a big girl now... a Kindergartner... a real kid.  It sometimes amazes me to think that this little girl was once the big, fat baby that came out of my belly!  That screaming baby is now a five year old that thinks, and pretends, and sings, and makes sarcastic remarks....  and gives me that cute little mischievous smile that always seems to get her out of trouble.   She is her own person... unusual compared to some children, unruly by some standards, but she is a special girl.  And I love her quirky little self.  I love her wiggly, fidgety,  constantly singing little self.  I love to hear her little whispers in the morning, when she climbs into my bed to wake me up... even when I am exhausted.  I love to hear her monotonous little songs in the back seat of the car when I am driving.  I love that girl more than I can even explain....  I am so lucky to have her in my life. :)
