Today Big A was at work with me (she is out of school for Christmas break- and has been having to go to work with me this week), and she bit into a cookie and complained that her tooth hurt. I briefly looked at it and it looked fine, so I continued on with my work. Tonight, while eating dinner, she complained that her tooth was hurting again. I took a closer look at the tooth in question and discovered that it was loose!!! Big A has her first loose tooth!! And she is not even 5 yet! I kind of thought that she might be losing teeth early because she is already cutting her 6 year molars, but I didn't expect it before she turned 5. Well, she will be 5 years old in a little over a week, so the tooth may not actually fall out until she is 5. I am so proud and a little sad--my little girl is growing up!
News Flash--I just checked her teeth again ( I took a break from writing to get the girls to bed), and Big A actually has TWO loose teeth! The left lower incisor is much more loose that the right lower incisor, but both are definitely wiggling.
Some people would think that it is pathetic that I would write about loose teeth, but these are the exciting moments in our house.
