Big A and D had their first soccer practice on Wednesday. We were late getting there, of course, but they had a good time. D had some trouble keeping up with the other kids, and had a couple of minor meltdowns, but he said he liked playing. I tried to explain to him that he should just try to have fun out there and not get discouraged if he doesn't always get the ball. I hope he has a good time playing. I wish I could make him a faster runner, but I can't. I'm sure it gets incredibly frustrating for him to always be weaker and slower than the the kids. I hope his struggles in life make him a stronger person in the end.

Fall Soccer Is Here!!!
I am sitting at work--in Locust Grove, Georgia, watching the gas prices rising... It is unbelievable. Yesterday the price outside the office was $3.59/gallon, This afternoon they raised it to $5.20/gallon!!! That is bullshit!!! No gas truck has come today to put gas into the ground!! That is price gouging at it's finest... It is pathetic. I wish I had money invested in oil companies-- those people are the only ones prospering in this shitty economy...
