Our Relaxing Weekend...

We had a very relaxing weekend. We pretty much just hung out in the backyard and played all weekend. Friday night Big A had an end of the season soccer dinner at CC's Pizza. She missed the last 3 games of the season because we were in Russia, so I was glad that she didn't miss the party. She got the award for most team spirit and a really nice trophy. Poor Little A and D-- they both thought they were going to get a trophy too and were very disappointed. I explained to Little a that she wasn't on the team, so she couldn't get a trophy, but poor D, obviously, didn't understand what I was saying... Next season he'll get one....

We finally planted flowers in the little flowerbed next to the playhouse. Saturday the kids and I went to Home Depot to pick out the plants. This morning we all went out back to plant them. After clearing out the flowerbed, Big A lost interest... Little A instructed me where to place each plant, and D helped fill in the dirt around the plants while I planted them... So it was sort of a joint effort, although somehow I did most of the work. :)

All in all it was a good weekend....
