Of course I'm still stressed. But not quite as much as yesterday. I got all of the documents that I need together--I just have to get a couple of them notarized and all of them apostilled. I also sent off my visa application, as well as the girls'. I assume that means I am going to take them to Russia with me, although the tickets are outrageously priced, and I will be in debt for the rest of my life! If I think about the money I get physically ill, so I will just hand over the credit card and have a complete nervous breakdown next month when the bill comes... Somehow my financial situation has gotten way out of control. Money is going out in much larger amounts than it used to and coming in at barely a trickle. I wonder if I will ever catch up? Maybe I will end up a victim of the Recession...
On a brighter note, a very strange and wondrous thing has occurred. The lone Sea Monkey (yes we attempted to hatch more Sea Monkey eggs after the disaster, but only one hatchling survived) had babies! Yes you are reading this right. There was only one Sea Monkey in the tank that made it to "adulthood", and then suddenly this single Sea Monkey began laying eggs--- without a male!!! Asexual reproduction, or perhaps the Second Coming... who knows? ( Just kidding Mom) Any way we have more baby Sea Monkeys!! Big A noted that the Sea Monkey is much like me... "Mommy, you had babies without a male, too..." Why yes, I suppose I did. :)
