It has taken me a few days to recover, but we made it through the party, and it seemed to be a success. I think the kids had a lot of fun.
My Mom came up Friday night. My brother and my 4 nephews came with her. I'm sure you can imagine the chaos-- SIX children running amok in my very small house! They had SO much fun -running around, throwing toys everywhere, screaming loudly, wrestling, breaking toys, etc... I had SO much stress watching my house be destroyed. We finally got all of the kids to bed about midnight. Then I was able to work on last minute party stuff. Actually, I got very little done on Friday night-- I stayed up until 2:30 am drawing and coloring the "Pin the Tail on the Poodle" game. It turned out pretty good-- I should take a picture of it and post it someday....
Saturday morning was full of stress. I had to go order the balloons, order the pizza, make the hats, fill the pinata, make the favor bags, buys the chips, salsa, ice cream, and ice, etc... All while trying to keep some order in my house full of children. My Mom and Brother helped me make the hats and fill the favor bags. The store was PACKED because, of course , it was snowing! I had to leave my poor Mom at the Recreation Center to finish decorating with "E's" Parents while I picked up the pizzas and the kids. We ended up being late for our own party! Talk about stress. But I think Big A had a great time at her party. There was a great turnout (despite the terrible weather). Both Big A and "E" seemed to have fun. No major meltdowns or injuries occurred.
I swore to myself that I would never have another party , but I am sure that next year I will put myself through the same stress again. Big A really loves "to party!" Below are some pictures of the Birthday Bash.

After the party, the cousins all went back to my house and spent rest of the afternoon destroying the house some more! They all had a great time! The girls were very sad to see them leave, so was I... despite my exhaustion and stress, I think the party was a success.
